Archdeacon Brian Evans Brian comes to us from Nanaimo where he and his wife, Flo, have lived for the past 14 years. They have one daughter, Katherine, who also lives in Nanaimo.
Brian was born in Saskatchewan and worked in local government administration prior to his ordination. He served in the church in Saskatchewan until 2004 when the family moved to Vancouver Island.
Brian’s focus in parish life is worship, pastoral care and stewardship. He believes, for good worship, one requires excellence in music, preaching and liturgy AND good liturgy begins on time.
Brian enjoys reading, cooking/baking and gardening. Considering his prairie roots, it is not surprising to know his main flower of interest is the lily.
Brian and Flo look forward to this time of ministry with St. John the Baptist in Duncan.
